What settings do you use to reach the 'Holy Grail' of MSFS

Recommended Posts

Yeah I set everything to medium then tweaked it. I have it locked at 35fps doesn't move I don't accept smooth and having 25fps or so you're just kidding yourself. So running mainly ultra, high and medium @1440p. Still looks good better than P3D or Xplane lol.

Having migrated recently to MSFS, I was surprised that my modest PC (i5 4670K 4.3 Ghz l RAM 32 Gb l GTX 1080 l 2K G-Sync monitor) can run MSFS smoothly (but with CPU and GPU at 100%).

Most of my graphics sliders are on ULTRA, a few ones on HIGH or MEDIUM. At this time I'm flying GA aircrafts in small/medium airfields on clear skies and achieve 30-40 fps.

In the end:

Less is more.

That is:

Less tweaking* is more flying.

* compared to FSX/P3D
