April 26, 20224 yr Hey guys, I've had my 2080 Super for a bit now and performs very well, but seriously thinking of getting NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Gaming Pro Palit GPU... couple things i wanted to ask as to MSFS 1. Do you think there will be a noticeable performance difference (CPU is 9700k clocked to 5ghz)? 2. I didn't know this but my wife just told me to avoid cards that have been used for crypto mining! And the palit version seems to be the go... is this the case? Thanks for any help guys... 2K plus is a lot to drop on a card so want to get my ducks in a row.. April 27, 20224 yr I have a 3080 and a 8700k, swapped out a 2080 super. I noticed up to 10fps sometimes more in not heavily built up places, but there was an improvement. Also i do my flying with non default planes. My bottle neck for MSFS is the CPU now.
