April 28, 20224 yr Curious on if the results will be that much greater for a 3090 compared to a 3080ti card. Right now my system has a 2080, nothing fancy. Just curious if there is a need for that much vram compared to what the 3080ti can be. Not a computer expert at all but if I am spening $1,000+ for 3080ti and can get a 3090 for $1,700 I dont want to be foolish but if the gains are so minimal I would go with the 3080ti. Thanks! April 28, 20224 yr Had a 3090 and sold it to get a 3080Ti. Barely noticeable performance difference that is not justified for the huge bump in price.
