May 2, 20224 yr I flew a flight yesterday, using a Simbrief flightplan as I always do, loaded into MSFS and also to Avliasoft EFB. Flight yesterday was normal. Today I wanted to fly the same flight, and I wanted to start on the runway, and I noticed that MSFS put a departure procedure up when I selected the flight to launch on the active runway. I did not want to fly the procedure, so I selected "direct" and launched the flight. Now I noticed the the flight plan was totally different than the one I flew yesterday. The flightplan in EFB was correct, but the G 1000 NXI had this new altered flight plan. Also on he loading page prior to starting the flight, the flightplan was this altered flightplan. So I restarted the flight, and the same thing happened. Then I rebooted everything, and this time I started at a ramp, and the correct flightplan was loaded into MSFS and the G1000. Has anyone else seen this happen?
May 2, 20224 yr Not directly the same, but modifying simbrief flightplans inside MSFS always resulted in some absolutely not traceable changes to me. Then somebody told me that you always should select the departure gate not in the world map but in the dropdown list of the departure airport instead, but even then, MSFS sometimes rearranges everything or shows several alternative routes. Sometimes I have to re-load the downloaded FP several times into MSFS and do my departure gate modifications until it really corresponded to the originally downloaded route. My "workaround": always double and triple check if the flightplan finally displayed in the world map is exactly what I use in other programs like LNM or what I initially loaded from simbrief, only then I click on "fly". Annoying, but so far there was no other "solution" leading to consistent results. Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
