Scripts for latest flyJsim Q4XP?

Featured Replies

I wanted to create a voxscript for the new flyjsim Q4XP.

I created a new folder DH8D (which was the code at the top of the MCE GUI) and copied the scripts from the ones in the MajesticQ400 folder.  But when starting MCE and clicking the Voxscript button there are no scripts present.

So I used the import function in the GUI to import the scripts that I wanted to try.  After exiting MCE and reloading the scripts they do  reappear, however I like to edit them outside of X-Plane, but I can't find where in my folders this .vsc script file is stored. When adding scripts via the GUI where does MCE store this resultant script file?

Hi Stuart.

Do not create folders.

It's very likely, MCE isn't identifying the latest FJS release as the supported Q400 from FJY. As a result it doesn't know where the scripts are.

In "xpmce.ini" set "Debug=1", then restart MCE.

At some point during the loading phase, you should see a dialog box showing what information MCE is using to check which plane from which evendor is being loaded.

Post screenshot here or send it to support.

Revert back to Debug=0 when done.

Thanks

Thanks Gerald, I'll do that tomorrow.

Received screenshot.

An updated "xpmce.exe" will be posted as soon as possible.

For that specific plane, flows ar expected to be in folder <Dash8Q400> in \Myvoicescripts\Copilot\Aircraft\ folder
