May 7, 20224 yr Hello everyone, I'm a new player to FSX and I am wondering if the auto raising of the landing gear is a feature of the planes that came with the sim and if I somehow can disable it in settings ?
May 7, 20224 yr I’ve never heard of such a thing in Fsx? Pressing G will lower/raise landing gear. Luke Pype
May 7, 20224 yr I've never heard either. May 7, 20224 yr Author Sorry guys, I ment it raises automatically, not lowers. As soon as I have cleared the runway is raises by itself without me having to click any buttons, is that normal ?
May 7, 20224 yr Never heard of gears raising automatically after clearing the runway either. Which plane are you flying? Have you installed some sort of utility? Now I'm embarassed, turns out that fsx had mapped the landing gear to one of my throttles on the TM Airbus throttle, this trottle has several points in the axis that represents keys, and fsx had mapped raising the gear to the last "key" on one of those throttles so that when I put it in to full throttle it activated the landing gear toggle 😛 Thank you anyway for trying to help, problem is now solved 🙂
May 7, 20224 yr I was about to suggest the gear being mapped to an axis. But meanwhile you found. Good! Happy flying mate, and thanks for posting the resolution.
