June 15, 20224 yr also noticed in the customization settings under flight model there is a elevator and aileron authority - what do this do and what settings is everyone using for them? (default seems to be 0)
June 15, 20224 yr The PMDG 737 is one of only a few aircraft I have in the sim with no edits to control sensitivity. They did a good job with the flight model. The -700 is a sensitive, pitchy airplane... that's what makes it fun to fly in reality. Andrew Crowley

For most, you can only compare it to other sim airliners. If you’ve got used to the placid A320 NEO, the 737-700 may seem jumpy. Stearman, what hardware are you using? Oz Sim Rig: MSI RTX3090 Suprim, an old, partly-melted Intel 9900K @ 5GHz+, Honeycomb Alpha, Thrustmaster TPR Rudder, Warthog HOTAS, Reverb G2, Prosim 737 cockpit. Currently flying: MSFS: PMDG 737-700, Fenix A320, Leonardo MD-82, MIlviz C310, Flysimware C414AW, DC Concorde, Carenado C337. Prepar3d v5: PMDG 737/747/777. June 15, 20224 yr Well and that's the other thing, everyone's hardware is different so there's no way to say that it's not overly sensitive for some people. I'm using a Warthog stick and throttles personally (no extension). In other sim aircraft that I have found overly sensitive, the magic setting seems to be extremity dead zone. So if you find it oversensitive, usually adding around +20 - +30 extremity dead zone does the trick. Andrew Crowley
