All rotary aircraft fail to start up problem.

Featured Replies

I installed the fsx version of the CH47 at avsim and started a flight with this aircraft. However, no engines, nothing. Ctrl E does nothing, Ctrl shift F4 does nothing, ctrl F4 nothing. Tried the default rotary and exactly the same, no engines. Impossible to start.Loaded default 737, no engines but did crank up with ctrl E. Re-loaded the jet ranger and no engines. Rotary all refuse to start up.This is driving me mad, can anybody help? Many thanks.

I had a problem similar to this too. I eventually downloaded the chinook the fsx one is based on. You can get it from www.hovercontrol.com (the file name is "bbch47v11"). Just install that and copy the fsx chinook's "panel" folder into the bbch47v11 folder (when it asks you if you want to replace the other "panel" folder click yes) and that should fix your problem. I think the other part of the problem is the fsx chinook's cfg file. Use the bbch47v11's cfg file instead.
