Low Bandwith Notification

Featured Replies

hello,

Since the update today, I am getting a "Low Bandwidth" notification, and cannot use Bing graphics. I searched this forum and others seeking a solution however with the massive amounts of threads on this topic, I failed to find one. I have had no issues such as this until this update, and I am wondering if there is something on my end I can do to fix this problem.

I checked my internet speed which is 90+ Mbps down, reset my router, and have only essential programs running in the background. My community folder is empty also. I am located in Florida, USA and if anyone can help me I would appreciate it very much.

Thank you for reading this.

Try tuning off Rolling Cache. I was having constant issues with disconnection errors, I turned off Rolling Cache and haven't had an issues since.

Thanks for the suggestion, however mine is cleared and off.

Don’t listen to suggestions to fiddle with your sim or hardware settings. Of course the intention is good but fact is the MS servers are insufficient to handle the load.

What the message on your screen should be saying is “Our servers are incapable of streaming to your simulator at a sufficient rate at this time. We apologise for our ineptitude. Kind regards, Microsoft.”

Bottom line is that after a sim update there is a much higher than average number of simmers actively checking out the new update. The servers simply cannot handle it.

Nothing you can do will fix a problem back at the MS server end. I also had the message tonight. Many more will too…
