voice interface connection lost on mike stop

Featured Replies

Have a logitech headphone usb connection. With the mike up and out of the way the interface connection is disconnected. Have to go into CFG and reconnect by first doing button control then back to voice interface and it does then reconnect. Used to not have to do this, not sure if this is a logitech update issue or something else. The headphones are working correctly and on startup with the mike up then put down the connection is there until I put them back up again.  I do it when I don't need the mic and keep out any unnecessary background noises.

they do updates on a regular basis but not sure it concerns the headphones. Also there are graphic video card updates by NVDIA which includes usb updates monthly. And even my Dell system has updates along with Window updates. Take your pick, I have done all the trouble shooting I can do with no luck, meaning I see no settings that I can adjust or fix for this issue.

My headphones are able to add an application if you have one. Don't know how that would work but maybe that would solve the issue not have to worry about other updates from all others.

Check your audio input setting in Windows.

And run the voice training again in Windows.

I suspect in a recent update your Windows forget that your USB headset is your desired "audio input" device.

Failing that, check this:

all those things are set correctly at startup it works fine. Once I mute the mike that is when the interface is lost.

It sounds like you should.  Use Hard / Soft mute instead.

When you're physically muting, it sounds like it's dropping the connection to the speech recognition engine.

got it and will do, my physical mike with my headphones was just easy to push it up into it's slot out of the way
