VRI MCP1 and FBW A320

Recommended Posts

Some more information. When the error occurs, the Joysticks menu panel does not automatically jump to the associated joystick configuration screen.

I have now tried the following: I moved the current FSUIPC folder and then reloaded a good backup copy into the Prepar3D v5 Add-ons folder. I copied all the files from the moved LINDA and LINDA-CFG folders except for the aircraft I was working on - Quality Wings 787.

Now Linda no longer shows an error. As I mentioned above I think it happens if I manually shutdown Linda while P3D is running.

Does this give any clue as to the problem or the resolution?

@AllanK so I can help you better I would ask you to read and follow the Fault Diagnosis Procedure (under LINDA Support) and email me the log files. Load the QW787 and operate some of the buttons. Also email me the config-hid.lua file from /FSUIPC6/LINDA-CFG/aircrafts/QW787.

I have finally resolved most of my isuues, lots of trial and error after approx 6 hours worth.

I am however dealing with an issue on mcp1, unable to turn hdg spd and alt, nothing changes in cockpit.

Would the mcp2 work around work for latest module of FBW latest fsuipc and linda.

If understand correctly the confif file of mcp2 would work on mcp1 for complex airxraft?

My default aircraft work, this is the first time i connect to Linda. Looking forward to flights with my old equipment i never used in msfs

Thank you

Lvars showing 1500 in tracer if it matters

Wasm enabled

No errors in linda unless i turn the knobs

Congratulations. I recommend you download and install the latest version of FSUIPC7 7.3.6 to access all available Lvars for Fenix. You should have a figure of around 2177 Lvars in LINDA Tracer.

Many of the config-mcp2.lua assignments will work for the MCP1 panel (eg. config-mcp.lua) but will need to be assigned manually. A manual edit is not recommended as this can cause errors.

After doing a reset, I am seeing 1473 for the FBW A32NX.

I have sent a reply to your email.

Thank you i'll look into it.

Quick question the 3 event files for the fbw module should be in the root fsuipc folder, is that correct?

Correct. Normal installation should have already placed them in the FSUIPC7 folder.

Ok thank you, i can confirm they are missing. I did use the maintenance page to install the module, i also tried to overwrite what was there, however the evt files are not installing via linda maintenance page

I was going through the Fault Diagnosis process and found the following when I got to the step "You may need to remove a block on logging in FSUIPCx.ini"

There was an error message about  LogOptionProtect - looking in the FSUIPC6.INI file the option was already set to "NO".

At that stage I clicked on  "SYNC TO SIM" and the green "Everything is OK" came up and the Joysticks panel started to respond to key presses on the Controllers.

Should I do this whenever I have this issue?

Clicking on SYNC TO SIM does what is says on the tin (English advert and saying). This is essential for LINDA to function. The aircraft should be outlined in orange whenever you want to interface with the simulator.

When reporting problems the Fault Diagnosis Procedure allows me to see what is going on internally and work out how to help users.

Hey all,

i have the VRI Combo1, FSUIPC7 and LINDA,  and the MSFS was working fine with LINDA as MSFS Default, the COMMs was sync and working, and i could use the HDG, ALT, V/S.

After add/config the FW A32X 1.0.3 Module in Linda i no longer couldn't use the standard 'MSFS Default'. Now if i selected other aircraft instead of A32X, LINDA doesn't sync and the status keeps saying WAIT.

How do i fix this?

Many tks
