June 2, 20224 yr Hi. I have 2 problems since I updated after a 5 month hiatus. Some of my planes the throttle doesn't work on the joystick. But like one out of ten times I start a flight it works fine. It's always the same 2 planes. The other problem is on a different plane as I boot the flight the status bar stops moving and it completely freezes up and I have to use control all delete. I re-installed and the problem is still present.

June 2, 20224 yr Are these two planes maybe the FBW A320 and the Headwind A330? If so, you have to calibrate your throttle using their EFBs before your first flight.

The planes are the Cri Cri and the Yak 18. The Joystic is the Logitech Extreme 3d Pro. The sim freezes many times I try to launch the BD-5J plane. Edited June 2, 20224 yr by Todd2

I user neither of the planes so I cannot comment on that. Besides I have an old HOTAS which works flawlessly with 146, CRJ, 737 and 430 but some do/did report about USB issues, did you update your system drivers? does un- and replugging the Logitech with MSFS running help? Did you try another USB port on your PC? Just some ideas to narrow your issue a bit Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

There have been changes while you were away.. Some planes now require you to bind the throttle to "Throttle x Axis" (where x is number 1 to 4 ) rather than "Throttle Axis" As for the getting stuck in loading problem... try with nothing in your community folder first.. see if something in there is causing the issue..., also delete your Content.xml file (the sim will rebuild it on launch) If you're on the MS Store version you can locate it at C:\Users\Yourname\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache Edited June 2, 20224 yr by The Moose

I'm looking for the way to bind the axis now but I can't figure it out yet. Been looking under Control options, power management. I did figure out I can hit F3 to throttle the aircraft though.
