June 2, 20224 yr Can someone let me know if there is a proper way to calibrate my rudder pedals or what sensitivity settings I should be using? When landing, I have been noticing the plane being much harder to control and to keep on the centerline. For example, my last flight I had a little cross wind but nothing too crazy. I landed on the centerline, de-crabbed but found that when I applied reverse thrust, the plane would veer off violently making it impossible to control. I have the hotas warthog thrust lever and mapped a button to apply reverse thrust but I don't think there is a conflict with the rudder or my pedals. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Probably won't help you, but I use my default sensitivity settings which are I think -40%, and I use only the MSFS setting. I actually find the Fenix better to control with my pedals than the 737, or at least on par. But to be honest it depends on the pedals you use; mine are the cheap Thrustmaster variant, so they need some good amount of sensitivity because they offer less resistance. For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
