June 9, 20223 yr I want to set "Terrain LOD" to a lower value but it seems to have a mind of it's own. I will set it to 120, 200, whatever. Nest time I startup the sim it has reverted back to 300, even after saving my changes. When I exit the sim I ESC back to the "main menu", then "Quit to Desktop". I am closing the sim properly, that can't be the reason. i913900KF (5.8GHz) | Case: Fractal PopAir RGB I Gigabyte Z790 UD AX| MSI Gaming RTX 4070Ti Super 16GB | Kingston Fury Beast 64GB DDR5 5200Mhz | SOLIDIGM P41 Plus 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD | Samsung SSD 870 EVO 2TB | Thermalright Frozen Notte 240 MM Liquid Cooling | LG EVO 42" Monitor 3840 x 2160 120Hz | Honeycomb Alpha & Bravo | Logitech G Pro pedals | Tobii EyeTracker | 850W Thermaltake 80+ GOLD |
June 9, 20223 yr You wouldn't happen to have messed with your UserCfg.opt file, to perhaps remove sharpening and other post-process effects at some point and then set it to read-only, to avoid it changing it back? Thanks for the reminder. I forgot I had designated the file as "Read Only" a while back. I unchecked the "Read Only" box and everything seems fine now. Regards No problem, had the exact same problem last week so it sounded familiar. Glad you got it sorted.
