How Do I close the Windows Speechbar to use MCE?

Featured Replies

Hello to my fellow MCE users.

As a Blind computer user, is there a keyboard command to close the windows speech bar so that I may start enjoying MCE?

Please reach out to me at:

Many thanks

Since you are a BVI pilot, things that come to mind are other assistance tools you may have enabled.

I assume in Windows Control Panel, speech reco options, you don't have Windows set to always atart speech reco when it boots.

In speech recognition I have the following

Run Speech Recognition at start up is unchecked.

I also have enable voice  activation is also unchecked.

So, don't know why I'm still receiving the error message.

I'm also receiving the error message that MCE will only run inside Fs.

Please run FS then restart MCE.

Why won't it work within p3d?

Which times zone are you in?

I can throw out a key under the welcome mat from Team viewer and a good time when we can connect.

Or would you rather use the quick connect that Microsoft uses instead?

Many thanks.
