H Jet Exterior Lights Issue

Recommended Posts

Hello, just bought this tonight and the first flight is going well so far.  My only issue so far is that with the lights set to normal, they keep changing from on to off, and if I try manually set them to on, many will skip the on “button” and go to off or vice versa.

Any idea what might be going on here?

Thanks

I had that problem and I just hit the L key.  This defaults to turning all the lights on.  After a second or two, the HJET kicked in and set all the lights properly.  Give it a try, YMMV.

Thanks!  I'll give the L key a try.

The Hjet is modeled on the actual Hondajet which has a feature that controls the lights automatically based on the phase of taxi or flight.  It is overridable, I recommend you DL the Honda official POH and or Marwans Hjet tutorial.  Both have been linked in topics here about a week or 10 days ago:

Thanks yeah I knew it was automated - I’m interested to learn how it knows when to do things like turn on the beacon etc - but in my case it just wasn’t working properly, sounds like L is the answer.
