Worth buying even if it is just fo the lessons and missions in it.   All fsx scenery and aircraft can be used with this too.

Also, the FSX Steam sale is a cheap, cheap way of checking out and test what Steam is all about if you have not joined or boarded the Steam "train" yet. Steam sales are super cheap, come frequently, and their games inventory is unbelievably mind-boggling huge (30,000 games).
