From 4.5 to 5.3

Recommended Posts

OP hasn't replied yet, but there is another suggestion: Lockheed Martin has a 14-day refund period. Why don't you give it a try, and, if you don't like it, your return it?

Or, if you think a month is not enough, pay a one month subscription and see for yourself?

Spoiler alert: With my old 1650 it didn't work (but maybe my mistake was trying with only the TFDi 717). But with my current 3060 Ti, I find it runs faster than v4 (which I reinstalled just for curiosity) at similar settings.

Thanks to all for your comments.

I have postponed the move until I get a used 1080TI.

Thank you all,

Peter

Interesting comments. I have a nVidia GTX 960 with 4 GB, and I run v. 5.3 HF2 just fine.

But then again, I am not pushing my settings, and I am going to get another card "real soon now" - well, that is what I am telling myself....

Gracias, Peter

I switched late, very late to 5.3, just a week ago, it works much better than 4.5 in every sense, but with 4Vram, I see it as a bit complicated, with quite high configurations, and in less populated areas it never drops below 4800. Vram, in my case, and in final approach, with charges from the toll airport plus city, etc. it reaches peaks of 8000+, but the CPU issue handles it much better!! Before completely eliminating the 4.5 I have carried out tests, same scenario, same airport, same approach runway, etc etc etc, in 4.5 I was getting jerks of up to 19/20 fps, in 5.3, with the same setup it does not go below 30fps, and 30 because I have it limited there, I don't know if I release it, it shoots more fps, I would say yes, that is my experience, yes I came across many v4.5 scenarios (which I had a lot of) they do not work in v5+.

greetings
