VR newbie with MSFS

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,

Been thinking about vr for awhile now.  Quick question for MSFS:

Meta Quest 2 at 299 (Amazon)

HP Reverb G2 at 399 (HP website 4 of July weekend only price free shipping)

Anyone have both and can compare?

Reading stuff online but am getting information overload.  Only have a day or so to choose.

PC:

CPU:  I5 9600K

GPU: AMD 6600 8G

RAM: 32G

Storage:  SSD

Thanks for any input on this.

I don't have both, but the HP Reverb G2 seems to be the more popular choice for Flight simmers. With its higher resolution, you can easily read the gauges.

I have both the Vive Pro and the HP Reverb and I much prefer the HP Reverb for Flight sim.

I have had both, having replaced the Quest 2 with the HP G2. Gotta say that the G2 is much clearer/sharper than Quest. The only drawback to the G2 is the "always connected" cable that can be annoying.
