how can I Record in VR (both eyes combined+blended))

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I would like to start uploading to youtube recordings of me flying in VR without loosing any of the picture area that I see. I can record just one eye but that means the audience is not seeing some of the area that the other eye sees that's not overlapping.  Is there a way to blend the two eyes together?  One step further would be to make it widescreen with minimal image loss.

What VR headset are you using? It depends a bit on whether it's WMR, Steam, Oculus. I haven't used my Reverb in a good while but I think it had a mirror option to generate a composite image.

Must confess I've let my signature lapse.Maybe this will help. I remember that small triangle now - wasn't obvious.
