July 10, 20223 yr Just want to share my negative experience with the SimMarket Desktop App. All the downloads using the App are extremely slow, in the range of 8 - 30 KB/sec, which is totally unacceptable. The support at SM doesn't help very much, to say the least, as they say the low download speeds are related to SM internal issues that would be solved soon, but in the meantime no solutions are offered. Some products have the option to be downloaded as usual, but others must be downloaded exclusively using the App. Just in case I'm the only one, but I'm now hesitant to purchase anything through SimMarket. July 10, 20223 yr Their servers were always slow, going back to FSX days. Their desktop app is also behind the competition imo, feels like it was built to cut corners and is light years behind ORBX and Contrail, which is sad as they’re carrying a lot of products that the others don’t.
