July 16, 20223 yr Sorry, 9 days ago I had this working well and was so impressed, then I went on Holiday. I returned today and tried a quick flight, EGPH-EGBB, brilliant, then I thought, I know, Now I've got the FCU working, I'll lower everything (it rests on an MDF shelf with an X Touch Mini) I also thought I should move my SAITEK radio panel. Big mistake, after unplugging USB cables etc I did a bit of woodwork and plugged it all in. Sadly it no longer works. Initially on starting Linda, I had a message about 4 unknown USB devices. I have Saitek Rafio Panel, TCA throttle and Sidestick and rudder pedals. I ensured nothing was checked as enabled and pressed save. Using VRiSim I checked COM Ports, this recognised the FCU. Linda says FSUIPC or msfs not running I've tried restarting MsFS and nothing changes. Any ideas what I've done
July 16, 20223 yr Changing the USB can cause the problems you report especially if the ports used are different. Unless you have similar devices (eg 2 Saitek Radio Panels), LINDA should be able to sort the order out. The other problems is Win10 power management where WIndows tries to save power by switching off the USB ports. You need to use Device Manager and ensure the power saving mode for each new USB port is turned off (see thread under LINDA Support). Thanks Scott, I am on Window 11, but, the Power Saving is still the same. Will check it over later
July 16, 20223 yr Author I have tried that, and a lot of the USB Ports did have it switched on. I've turned those all off, but, now I get the Fenix A320 loading message on the FCU, and then, speed, heading, altitude is indicated on the FCU. However none of the buttons or knobs work. The Altitude reading changes on the FCU when I change the Altitude in the Sim
July 17, 20223 yr I have the same result which, I believe has been explained as "expected" due to the lack of exposure of the appropriate Fenix LVars. Sadly, I get the same result in the FBW A320 which I think should "just work" 😞 Two way comms seem to be OK as Adjusting the Radio Frequency seems to work just fine. BR M. Very Best Wishes, Dr T.
