This will surely depend upon the speed of the download servers? I have 500 Mbit up and 500 down but very seldom see speeds greater than 100 Mbit. I use 990 m.2 drives and have yet to try downloading rather than streamed.

I have decided to use a 4TB m.2 Lexor on an external USB4 enclosure using my onboard 10Mb/S output - Strix Z-790F Mobo. I have, for the last couple of weeks been using my MSFS 2020 Community Folder contents on a 1.5GB Partition and have found it to be entirely acceptable. I also have a Mini PC with a gen 14 I5 processor and 4 USB4 [Thunderbolt] outputs. I am going to use a 2nd Partition for MSFS 2024 which will leave quite a chunk of "spare" space to, perhaps, carry the Rolling Cache for each Sim. I am also doing to try this drive on the Mini PC to determine if this can handle the installations and, if so, will look at an external powerful GFX card. My main system has a 13th Gen I7 with a 4090, but that draws a large quantity of mains power. We shall see.

I hope that they concentrate their efforts on producing a better Flight Simulator. 🙂

The logic to drive the PS2 throttle is within the Yoke. You will require a USB throttle quadrant to do what you require. Good luck with that as they are as scarce as rocking horse poo. Regards. M.

I purchased from the pollypot site and, if I remember correctly, I was not offered [or more likely missed the opportunity] to set up an account. It shows my username as my postcode [scratches head in puzzlement] and the password box is also filled in [ with I know not what]. The serial number [big isn't it?] works fine though, so I will eventually sign up for the forum and take it from there. No concerns from me and ,again, I reiterate my thanks. ^^^ Steve, I am aware of this, thanks, as stated above, I have purchased GIT, but seem to be having issues which I currently have not been able to sort out yet. Following my post - 2 back - I found ORIGINAL 2-26-5 which works flawlessly on my I7 @ 4.4 GHz and Nvidia 1070. As I also have both VRInsight boxes for Airbus and 737, I have no problems leaving the new GIT for now and await a couple of updates before trying again. Regards. M.

The "original" 2-26-1 is still available, I downloaded it this morning from the GoFlight site. I did purchase the new payware product a couple of weeks ago, but I have been unable to get it running in P3D V3.3 I will continue to try though. Regards. M.

Well, several more hours later and I have found the "fix" Msconfig > Boot Tab and delete the extraneous items. Problem solved.

For a variety of reasons, I have 3 properly licensed Windows 10 64 Bit running different Sims on my PC. A failure of my C drive [1TB SSD] was, I hoped, easy to rectify with a new [replacement] 1 TB SSD and Acronis Backups. Needless to say, it was far from easy. After restoring my latest C drive image, I was hoping for a fully operational "back to normal" scenario. How wrong can you be. So following my usual "I will restore all" then, nothing worked OK then, all drives unplugged, plug in C Drive only and restore from backup AH HA a good load. Plug in the D Drive, restore from backup and back to where I was, total poo. OK then reload Win 10 onto D and I now have *FOUR* darned available selections to choose from at boot time. One for C on Volume 2, one for D on Volume 3 and 2 Ghosts which, obviously, don't boot anyrhing. many hours later, I am wondering if anyone can advise on how to get rid of the "ghosts". I don't want to reinsert the original E drive until I can *hopefully* find out what I need to do next.
