July 16, 20223 yr Hi, has anyone else been getting for major frame drop when going externally for like 5 or 7 seconds, then the frames climb back to normal, for me they are locked at 30. I was at KSAN and when looking towards runway 27 from the gates I get 30 locked frames easily all over any view...then all of a sudden I would prep my flight deck, then go externally again this time I get 15-18 frames looking towards 27 from the gate...waited like 5 to 7 seconds then it was back to 30 frames keeing the same view to see how long it takes for the frames to comeback... Wondering what could be causing this? Its random so its not all the time, 95% of the time the sim is at 30 frames within internal and external views Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)

July 16, 20223 yr Author It could be, I use AIG traffic and i have all of them downloaded, but I was also with Traffic settings set to off since I was using Vatsim and there was not much Vatsim traffic at the time Asus Tuf Gaming Plus B550 - Ryzen 7 5800X3D - Asus GeForce 4080 RTX OC Edition - 64GB DDR4 (3600Mhz) - EVGA 850W Power Supply - 2X 1 TB NVME PCIE gen 4 - Windows 11 (25H2)
July 16, 20223 yr Are there any consistent details for when it happens? On the ground/in the air, only add-on airports, only when going to external looking at the terminal versus somewhere else, etc. If your frames recover after a few seconds my immediate reaction is that it's some kind of caching issue.
July 16, 20223 yr Author On the ground, addon or default airport. It's in certain random angles ... If I pan around somewhere else its at 30 then go back to that view it's down to 15 until it climbs back up to 30 again.
