Weird Bug

Featured Replies

Not sure who I should report this to but thought i'd share to see if anyone else has seen anything like this.  I was flying last night from KATL-KMDW in the Fenix on Vatsim.  I was using DD Chicago City and DD Midway.  The flight was going smoothly and I was flying the FISKK4 approach and was given vectors to final.  I was cleared for the approached and established on the localizer.  Once cleared to land, i switched off the autopilot to fly manually.  Before you ask, yes I activated approach.  As soon as I turned it off the speed went very high ,then low then high and the plane started to bank wildly to the right. I turned off the auto thrust to see if I can manually get the speed back to being normal but no luck.  Then the plane started flying backwards.  Not sure if this is a scenery conflict, sim bug, or Fenix issue but thought I would see if anyone else has experienced this.  This was the first time I have encountered anything like this before.

Some people reported issues with live weather winds being intense yesterday. It was probably that. See this post:

Thanks.  That seems like it was it.  I didn't notice any visual wind like mentioned in the other post but the results sound similar.  I hope that was just a one time thing.
