DX10 Fixer and Clouds - issues, worth it?

Recommended Posts

My DX9 setup is running well enough but more performance and VAS improvement is always welcome.

I assume cloud shadows only show up on weather set with broken clouds?

If its an overcast day of clouds, is the whole landscape 'additionally' darkened? This I don't want.

Only VC shadows are added/improved, correct? Tree shadows for example are not corrected I assume.

I am no pilot but I doubt that cloud shadows appear on the ground when the sun does not shine through overcast?
They certainly do not do so in FSX + Fixer + Cloud Shadows.

The cloud shadows product provides only cloud shadows.

FSX ground shadows are not addressed by this product.

Here is some information from the developer:

Hmm...I wish I could 'demo' these addons for 2 hours like Steam.

What the heck is going on with the water and cloud shadows in this video?! To me it looks horrible and like all the water not near'ish land is frozen ice with lightly scattered snow areas on it??!!
