July 23, 20223 yr Moderator It's probably user error but I've run into an issue with Addon Linker. I have several presets covering North America, South America, Europe etc. Also have one called Basic where I have libraries, utiities etc enabled. Problem: I start with all disabled, select and apply Basic preset which has 27 libraries active among other things. I then select South America preset which has zero libraries active. I select apply cumulative which, to me should 1) keep the original active elements and 2) apply the additional active elements from second preset. However, when I do this, my active libraries are reduced to 8 instead of 27 so the effect is not cumulative. The order in which I activate the presets makes no difference. I'm puzzled - I want to simply add one preset to another but it appears to be failing. Hopefully @Bad_T will spot this. RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
July 23, 20223 yr hello, by default, unused libraries (if they are defined as dependencies inside AL) are 'auto-unselected'. If that bothers you, you can check the 'do not automatically disable dependencies if not used' in the options screen (2nd tab) and they should stay activated until you unselect them manually. Not sure if that's the issue you are facing, but maybe try checking that option first to see if it's that, if not we'll need to investigate further 🙈😱 Note that for libraries you can also use the 'persistant' feature (click inside the persistant column to activate it for the addon) so that they stay activated even if you apply a preset that does not contains them, it's probably the easiest way to manage those addons you want to keep always applied without the need to always apply them via a preset. 🍻 Edited July 23, 20223 yr by Bad_T added 'persistant' info
