July 30, 20223 yr Hi all. I use the Saitek throttle quadrant in A&O in MSFS. All of my aircraft act in the same way ie, when the throttle lever is fully down the engine is at idle. However, with the Black Square Steam gauge overhaul for the Analogue Caravan when the throttle lever is fully down the aircraft goes into reverse gear very quickly. Idle speed seems to be set at about half way up the throttle lever. My question is this. How can I reset the throttle lever in A&O for idle to be set with the throttle lever fully down? I have changed the little blue triangles but it did not seem to make any difference. Thanks in advvance.

I have changed the little blue triangles but it did not seem to make any difference. The triangles are for the physical lever. There are (mostly cheap) controllers where the lever is down but the axis value that it sends isn't. Then you adjust the discrepancy with the blue triangles. Take a look at "Axis Min" and "Axis Max" on the change dialog (= when you doubleclick an axis assignment". Adjust Axis Min to the idle value that the aircraft implementation wants to see (this depends on how the developer made the plane). To see the actual values, activate "Tools->Show Axis Values", then move the lever to idle, read off the value, put it in Axis Min (mouse wheel or doubleclick&type).
