Can someone advise me as to what the two green circles represent - and as to why they are adjacent to one another.

Good question, i had noticed them as well.

It is well known that PMDG are big Captain Scarlet fans...  It looks like they have marked the Mysterons main base on the map!

Quick!  Launch the Angel interceptors.  I wouldn't mind one of those in the sim actually, with a decent cloud base to go with it.  Possible do you think?

They mark the start and end of the deceleration segment to 240/250 kts when reaching 10,000' during descent.

Excellent.  Throttle to idle and use of speed brake manually if needed I take it?

Standard. Identify when the boards will be needed and use them early.
