PTT Button issue with Velocity One Flight

Featured Replies

I do have a very special issue with the PTT button and the Velocity One Flight Yoke.

The special is that the V1F annouces itself as two devices with the same name of VelocityOne Flight: one is the yoke, one for the throttle Quadrant.

I try to program the PTT button on the yoke. When opening the dialog I see both devices with the same name. But I have to select the correct one to have the buttons be detected. Only, if I select the second entry, the button on the yoke will be detected. See screenshot:

But after saving this setting, I have to push the button number 8 on the throttle quadrant. Pressing the button on the yoke won't work.

Question: Do you see a chance to handle a hardware setup like this and fix this issue?

And of course: The logfile of re-programming the PTT button. I selected the second device (the yoke) and pushed first the button 9 and then button 8. Saved the settings. Afterwards I first tried button 8 on yoke, nothing happened. Then button 8 on the quadrant, PTT working.

The older version of P2A saved the device names and caused the kind of issue you're talking about.

The most recent versions save the unique ID for the selected device and so should avoid the problem, except for the naming issue which you need to talk to Velocity One about.
