It's often possible to get a free week of PBS Masterpiece Channel with Amazon Prime membership. Other good mystery / detective series are Endeavor and Broadchurch. A good family show is the new remake of All Creatures Great and Small (Welsh veterinarians in the 1930s).

Have actually had the use of the RFDS, when I was flown from an iron ore mining town in North Western Australia down to Perth, a trip of about 980 km. A really great service to isolated places in the outback.
