August 27, 20223 yr I'm trying to identify a scenery that causes a slowdown in loading scenery. Any suggestions? Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space. Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).
August 27, 20223 yr The binary search--disable half your sceneries, if it repeats it's in the active half, otherwise the deactivated half. Then half it again, etc etc. This only works if the problem is consistently repeatable. August 28, 20223 yr Commercial Member P3D has two logs that can be activated. They may or may not contain useful information. "Options->General->Enable Scenario Error Reporting" "Options->General->Enable Content Error Reporting" IIRC, the logs are saved to \Documents\Prepar3D v5 Files LORBY-SI
