PC-12 Carenado & PC-12 SimWorks Studios Avionics Modelling?

Featured Replies

The pre-release photos for the Carenado model show a dated flight panel. I have not seen any interior photos of the SWS model but can only assume it will have a more advanced cockpit environment. Does anyone know of the panel specifics to be modelled in the SWS version?

The Carenado model is due out in September and I think the SWS PC-12 version is several months away.

I doubt anyone except the SWS devs know for sure, but Carenado is basically good for screenshots only. They don't do system depth.

The Carenado cockpit is an accurate representation of the PC-12. SWS is modeling the same basic model for their initial release so its flight deck will be very similar. SWS has said that later (about a year after initial release?) they will be releasing the newer version of the PC-12 that has  Honeywell glass cockpit.

@GACSavannah Ahhh, okay. Thanks for this. The latest PC-12, the PC-12 NGX incorporates the Honeywell synthetic vision avionics and I was wondering if SWS would be modeling this aspect. Good to know that it is in the queue!
