September 1, 20223 yr I've just installed MS 2020 and every time I start it downloads a 56.64GB file. I'm on Steam and my UserCfg.opt file has "InstalledPackagesPath "D:\Packages" but the downloading screen doesn't tell where the update is going.
September 2, 20223 yr Try to write down the name of the file being downloaded. And search for it using a filesearch utility or Windows filesearch. Go to that path and delete the file and try again.
