Error 248 in 31.17.6

Recommended Posts

Hi, version 31.17.5 is working ok, but the latest version shows this error message and shuts down. I'm going back to 31.17.5.

No need to go back.

Run it again as administrator and if that does not work, rename parked_updates to updated_airports yourself as a work around.

Nope, renaming the folder.

Same for me...running as admin didn't work. PSXT created a folder called updated_airports, but all the data was still in parked_updates. I deleted the updated_airports folder, created a new one and copied everything from parked_updates into it, then deleted parked_updates.

That's weird because the command is rename not create. If that fails it should not have created a new folder ... I'd say.

But anyway, the solution in these cases is to rename the parked_updates folder of PSXT in updated_airports yourself.

The Release Notes have been updated,

It also created two folders for me. Running as admin did not fix the issue. However, both folders have two different data sets in it. the updated_airports folder has 33 airport files in the folder, and the parked_updates folder has a snapshot folder and 91 airport files. The airport files in the updated_airports folder have a newer modified date than the same airport file in the parked_updates folder. Should I move the newer files to the old parked_updates folder and rename that folder?

No,

delete all files from updated_airports,

then copy everything from parked_updates into updated_airports.

then remove the parked_updates folder.
