XP12 clouds CAN be spectacular!

So, are these Gyza-Piramid/Minecraft-style clouds really a thing? Cloud resolution is already set to max, but I am not sure if there is anything else I can do to prevent this...

XP12 clouds have several bugs at present, not surprising for an early release.  I and others have posted many images where the clouds are stunning.
