Baffled - I have TWO Community folders!?!?!

Ok, so I just started noticing that none of my add-ons via Addons Linker were working.  I mean no aircraft, no airports, no scenery which all used to work before.  Through researching threads I finally found out I have two community folders installed.  I have one under the directory where I install MSFS:

F:\MSFS\Community

and a 2nd one at the following path:

C:\Users\x\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages\Community

All my "purchased" addons are being installed there like PMDG and FlyTampa. I think this happened after I tried unsuccessfully to install AIG using Addons Linker.  Only when I went "default" did AIG work but I think it resulted in the above issue.

I want to use the Community folder under MSFS on my F: drive but I can only see addons if I point Addons Linker to my C:\ drive.

Is there a way to move all my C:\ community over to my F: drive community?  And why is there two to begin with?

Thx Clutch

P.S. - I guess it really does not matter as Addons Linker is just adding links to the C:\ drive and not actual copies.  Thought I would eating up my C:\ drive in no time.

Use file explorer. Open the community folder that has all the addon folders inside. Hold Control A keys and all of them will be selected. Right click to copy them all and paste them to the folder where you want them to be.

go to C:\Users\(your computername)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator and open  the usercfg.opt file. Type the location of the parent folder of your desired community folder on the last line of that file  (so that MSFS now knows where to find it).

I use a different location than you do, the last line for me is:

InstalledPackagesPath "C:\msfs2020"

yours should be InstalledPackagesPath "F:\msfs"
