trees suddenly showing up on taxi way

Featured Replies

I'm sure i've read about this problem, but it's just started happening to me. A quick search yielded an answer of "couldn't find what you were looking for. What is the cause of the sudden arrival of trees and was there a solution?

Something changed in how your scenery is configured or arranged. It's likely that a scenery feature that  prevents trees from showing where the taxiway is located is no longer active.

yes, I understand that. But what? I haven't changed anything. I've uninstalled Fsim studios CYVR and ORBX PNW; run P3d and re- installed the sceneries one at a time. The trees are still there.

If you have installed any ORBX Scenery check it has not changed this scenery priority. Orbx Central will often do this when you run it, That`s why "Addon Organizer" is the best tool for checking and correcting this.

Yes I've checked that- all good. The problem seems to be with ORBX PNW. For whatever reason, the trees are an artifact of that package. I asked if there was an earlier version available, prior to V1.9.3, but regardless of my diagnostic work, ORBX isn't convinced.

NM. I solved it. I found a sub folder in the PNW scenery directory named ORBX. Within it were files pertaining to various airports. I renamed the one with  CYVR in it and the trees are gone
