September 25, 20223 yr I'm sure i've read about this problem, but it's just started happening to me. A quick search yielded an answer of "couldn't find what you were looking for. What is the cause of the sudden arrival of trees and was there a solution?
September 25, 20223 yr Something changed in how your scenery is configured or arranged. September 26, 20223 yr Author yes, I understand that. But what? I haven't changed anything. I've uninstalled Fsim studios CYVR and ORBX PNW; run P3d and re- installed the sceneries one at a time. The trees are still there. Edited September 26, 20223 yr by Boeingnut
September 26, 20223 yr If you have installed any ORBX Scenery check it has not changed this scenery priority. Orbx Central will often do this when you run it, That`s why "Addon Organizer" is the best tool for checking and correcting this. Raymond Fry.
September 26, 20223 yr Author Yes I've checked that- all good. The problem seems to be with ORBX PNW. For whatever reason, the trees are an artifact of that package. I asked if there was an earlier version available, prior to V1.9.3, but regardless of my diagnostic work, ORBX isn't convinced.
September 26, 20223 yr Author NM. I solved it. I found a sub folder in the PNW scenery directory named ORBX. Within it were files pertaining to various airports. I renamed the one with CYVR in it and the trees are gone
