October 1, 20223 yr Yesterday on my flight to EDDC I received the following call (issued by the center controller): LUFTHANSA One Zero One Five Descend to cross DRESDEN at Flight Level Zero Five Zero then Descend via the DRN transition for the ILS approach to runway Two Two to cross CF22 at or above Three Thousand feet QNH is One Zero One Two at DRESDEN I then received no further instructions until 5nm from the runway (change to tower, cleared to land). There was no clearance for approach. Later I checked the log-file and saw, that I missed the first part of the instruction "Descend to cross DRESDEN at Flight Level Zero Five Zero" - I was most likely not at that altitude at that waypoint. Could this be the reason why ATC did not clear the approach later?
October 1, 20223 yr Commercial Member No, you should have been cleared for an approach of some kind. If you email the log file to [email protected], I can have a look to see what happened. P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name. Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab. Dave

I sent you two mails (because I forgot the attachment in the first one as usual). 🙄
