Red Sea – Part 1

This is the first part of a route that will crisscross the Red Sea from north to south. Starting from Aqaba (OJAQ) the first stop is St Catherine (HESC). We ovefly Mt Sinai enroute to El Tor (HETR) on the Red Sea side of the Sinai peninsula, then cross back to land at the resort city of Sharm El Sheikh (HESH).  Continuing acrosss the Red Sea to Hurghada (HEGN), then inland to the Nile at Luxor (HELX).  Down the Nile to Aswan (HESN) the back across the desert to the Red Sea for a finish at Ras Banas (HE14)

The route is 562nm long with 7 landings. An aircraft capable of 250knt cruise should be fine.  The King Air is a good choice, or any warbird, or a business jet like the Honda Jet.  Although I planned the route using the King Air, I will fly the Working Title CJ4 (v0.12.14) in Kestrel Livery.

Start Time is 2:30Pm Local which will give us nice afternoon light for most of the trip.

  Particulars:

  •             Date and time: Wednesday October 5, 19:00 UTC
  •             Where: AVSIM RTWR Teamspeak - Casual Flights Channel
  •             Teamspeak Server Address: ts.teamavsim.com
  •             MFS Multiplayer: US Eastcoast Server

If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks!

My thoughts also. Mmm, but which one?

The World is divided into two groups. Those who say "Give me a link" and those that provide the link. WWG1WGA

Did you decide on the 339, per the spreadsheet?
