MSFS - P2A not 'seeing' sim weather

Featured Replies

Complete Pilot2ATC rookie here and wondering if you can give me some pointers.  I have done a couple of IFR flights now and whereas everything seems to be working fine P2A cannot seem to see the sim weather eg for departure EGHI and arrival EGTC it was reporting weather not available.  For the departure it gave me the wrong runway direction for the winds in sim and on getting landing clearance it reported winds calm whereas in reality it was 10-12kts with a bit of a crosswind component.  I have set the weather to SIM Weather.  Any pointers would be much appreciated!

Set it to NOAA real weather. I don't think P2A even where where to look for MSFS weather. I find that it's pretty accurate using NOAA.

Thanks, I did originally have it set there but wasn’t getting weather so set it to Sim Weather but that seems to be for Xplane maybe?  I will try NOAA real weather again.
