Red Sea – Part 2

Red Sea – Part 2

Starting from Ras Banas (HE14) the first leg is 143nm across the Red Sea to Yenbo (OYEN) in Saudia Arabia.  The route continues inland to Medina (considered to be the second-holiest of three key cities in Islamic tradition).  Next is a longish (175nm) leg to Jeddah on the Red Sea.  A brief sightseeing tour of Jeddah landmarks before turning inland to Mecca.  A slow counterclockwise circle over the Kaaba seems appropriate then we head further inland for a landing at Taif.  The final leg is the longest (223nm) as we turn back to the west and over the Red Sea to our destination Port Sudan (HSPN)

Flightplan HERE

Freeware Addons:

The route is 724nm long with 5 landings. A fast jet (or sim rate increases) will be needed to complete the route in the allotted time.  Jet fighters such MB339 or Hawk/Goshawk will work fine.  I checked the route using the MB339, but I will fly the F-35 for this one (because I just like it).

Start Time is 2:00Pm Local which will give us nice afternoon light for most of the trip.

  Particulars:

  •             Date and time: Saturday October 15, 19:00 UTC
  •             Where: AVSIM RTWR Teamspeak - Casual Flights Channel
  •             Teamspeak Server Address: ts.teamavsim.com
  •             MFS Multiplayer: US Eastcoast Server

If you want to help others enjoy the multiplayer experience, don't forget to enter your aircraft details on the multiplayer spreadsheet (linked here). Your courtesy will save others a lot of time and effort. Thanks!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!
