The write-up on the Just Flight WB 172 mod web page says "External charging available".  Did any documentation come with the mod that addresses that?

EDIT: I looked at the manual for the WB 172 mod which is available on the JF WB mod web page, and on page 12 of the manual  it says:

Another great feature is when your battery is drained too low to turn anything on, you can hookup to
outside power. Although it isnt animated outside, when you are parked (in some parking spots) at an
airport, you can click the INOP breaker to initiate a charge from the outside. With your power switch on,
hovering over this breaker will show you the battery voltage as it charges. Eventually, your clock will show
voltage too and your annunciator will come to life, as in real life.

Thanks Ark, but already tried that and it didn't work...

I think the "in some parking spots " is very vague...need more of a clue where to park for that to work in my opinion..

It should. I have experienced that right now. Just park your plane, switch off the engine (if not already) and "get-out" the INOP circuit. You will hear a strange sound and in a short time (about minute or so) you will see current battery voltage and its increasing.
