flight plan export format .gfp not possible

Featured Replies

Bonjour,

I use your version 2.6.19 of your software.
and I have TDS GTNXi FLight Sim which only accepts flight plans with .gfp extension.
This is not indicated in the software.
Do you think you can add the 'gfp' extension?
I really like your flight plan tools, and it frustrates me to know that I won't be able to use it anymore because of this unplanned extension in LittleNavMap.
Thanks

In LNM click on File, Multiexport Flight Plan Options.  Scroll the list and find "Reality XP GTN 650/750 gfp?"  Checkmark it.  Click OK.  Then open your flight plan in LNM.   Click File, Multiexport Flight Plan, then verify the save location you wish, then click OK.  See if that works for you.

The RXP GFP formats are the same as @fppilot mentioned you just have to use another export path.

The separate export option for TDS is already implemented for the next (not yet released) LNM 2.8.2.beta.

Thank you very much for your answer,

I followed your explanation but the flight plan did not copy to the .lnmpln folder. In LNM I have a flight plan in .lnmpln format that is open.
but no file was saved in the specified folder.

Thanks for your help

This is not the LNMPLN folder. You save the LNMPLN to any folder in your filesystem for reference. All other formats are exported to wherever the plugins or aircraft need it.

Then use only the the first reality XP option "Reality XP GTN 750/650 Touch". Ignore the other one.
Second you have to enter the path "C:\ProgramData\TDS\GTNXi\FPS" into the last field in the selected row.

LNM will show an error message if the path does not exist.

since you told me that the flight plan of RXP is the same as GFP I exported in RPX
then I copied the file in my TDSGNTxi and I put the extension.gfp but it tells me that there is an error.

I do not know what to do. 🙂

That's how it should work:

But no idea about the error, sorry. The new TDS export I implemented uses the same format as users told me.

This is an example for TDS export:

FPN/RI:F:WA18:F:CONDI.V495.YYJ.V440.NANOO:F:FOCHE:F:AT4

Does the TDS manual state anything about the format?

Thank you ,
the fact that I renamed the RPX file to GFP, can you tell me if that's what I had to do as that may be the reason for the import error ?

I doubt it. Can you post the contents of the exported file here?

Are there any examples in the TDS user manual?
Or maybe you can create a plan in the TDS, save it from there and post it here?

I don't have the TDS and therefore have to rely on user information for implementing this format. A bit like shooting in the dark.

Sorry, looks like you have to wait for the LNM 2.8.2.beta. Seems that the TDM has its own peculiarities and there is a bug in LNM too.

Can you post the LNMPLN file and the exported GFP here which caused the error, to I can check?

Alex

I think I gave bad advice here. Use the export format "Flight1 Garmin GTN 650/750". This one does not export procedures and you have to add them manually in the Garmin after loading the plan.

Keep in mind that the Navigraph/MSFS and Garmin databases differ in waypoints (renamed, removed) and can always cause issues when loading plans. This is nothing I can fix.
