I I recently noticed that the scenery.cfg file does not exist in the MSFS installed folder, is it still necessary? all my scenarios and my program work fine.

I think you need to look for the content.xml inside the local cache to find the scenery order if that is what you are looking for.

I don't have that file either, but all works OK, thanks your help.

Content.xml is also not generated unless you rearrange scenery using the menu in the sim's experimental menu.
