July 19, 200718 yr I include the author's readme for you to check out first.Free download at AVSIM library.Works GREAT!Search for Autothumbnail2.zipReadme:Autothumbnail r2----------------12/3/[email protected] generates a thumbnail.jpg file for the currently flying aircraft. The image (shown in the "select aircraft" menu) is based on a screen capture.* Installation- You must have installed .NET 2.0 framework library, freely available here:http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details...&displaylang=en- The installation program "setup.exe" should automatically copy needed program files and modify FSX configuration files to launch this add-on.You could check this modified file:"c:documents and settingsApplication dataMicrosoftFSXEXE.xml"- If you know what you do, a manual installation is possible. Just copy the files in the manual_install directory where you want and set up the appropriate entry in EXE.xml* Usage- Run FSX. If no errors occured during installtion, you should see a securitywarning message. Answer yes (it will be displayed only the first launch)- A new menu entry in "Addons" has been added. To create a thumbnail for an aircraft, select this aircraft, change view to accomodate a nice screenshot and clickon this menu entry. The "all textures" options will generate thumbnails for all repaints of thecurrent aircraft. "All texture (don't overwrite)" will only create imagesfor repaints without a thumbnail file.If an error occurs during creation of the thumbnail, the screen will turnblack and an error message appears. If you are running in full-screen,you would probably switch to desktop to see this message. No message will appear on success.A 2-3 seconds delay is needed to see this thumbnail in the selection menu. Please report errors to the email indicated above.* LegalThis software and its source code are in the public domain.Permission to use, copy, modify and distribute this program for any purpose ishereby granted, without any conditions or restrictions. This software is provided "as is" without express or implied warranty.
