Constantly losing ATC Comms

Featured Replies

X-plane 12b14, P2ATC 2.6.3.2_x64 PublicBeta_8s5 Windows 11

I can connect and make 1 or 2 contacts with ATC, then nothing. ATC chatter will continue, but I cannot get a controller response. I can shut down P2ATC, restart, and it's the same thing all over again. If I open the interface, the PTT button on the panel turns green when I press my assigned PTT button on my alpha yoke, but I can not get a response. Have verified freqs are correct, even tried multiple freqs, same thing. Once it quits, it's done.

Any ideas??

If you email the log file for this flight to [email protected], I can have a look to see what might be causing this.

P2A Log files are located in: C:\Users\<UserName>\AppData\Roaming\P2A_200\Logs where <UserName> is your PC user name.
Portions of the path may be hidden by default, so be sure Windows Explorer has Show Hidden Items checked in the View tab.

email just sent with log file.

Thanks

Not sure if I had the same problem today (P3D), but similar behaviour.

Update to Beta 9, Departure from LOIJ (Info act as tower), everything's fine.
Switched to LOWI ATC, got airport somewhere, approached to LOWI,
switched between LOWI ATIS and LOWI ATC, finally got one message from LOWI ATC,
no controller response.
Reinstalled 8Q (inflight), reconnected, no communication to ATC possible (while chatter continued).
Checked P2A log, found stack trae:
Pilot2ATC_2021.exe    Information    0    SAPI does not implement phonetic alphabet selection.       at System.Environment.GetStackTrace(Exception e, Boolean needFileInfo)
   at System.Environment.get_StackTrace()
