What refresh rate to use 60 or 120?

I flew the 20 miles from EGLC to EGLL today in an Airbus 320-200 BA, and I must say that it is indeed a low FPS trip.  However, at no time did my system stutter or become a slideshow.  The FPS counter showed  mid-30's when I was at London City and it lowered to low 30's and a few high 20's over London's Tower Bridge and other main parts of the city.  Landing at Heathrow was still in the 30's, but again, it was smooth and "acceptable" to me.

I had more fun from an FPS perspective when I took off from Heathrow and flew to John Lennon (Liverpool).  System showed 60-80 FPS along the way and landing at EGGP was in the 40's.

It definitely is a challenging short flight indeed.  I've seen similar frames above New York City (where I also have an NYC addon that adds tremendous detail).
