Cirrus G1000nxi brightness

Featured Replies

I have an issue with the brightness of the G1000nxi on the Cirrus SR22 - it is very dark and it is not obvious how to adjust it .  The display adjustment knob on the panel appears stuck on maximum and can't be rotated and the manual adjustment procedure on the PFD itself shows no difference in brightness going from 0 - 100%.

Suggestions appreciated.

Hi Bruce,

My avionics brightness button in the panel is not stuck on maximum, dunno why yours is. But even on maximum, if it is too dark, press Menu on the PFD, then select the display you want (PFD or MFD) and change from Auto to Manual and choose the percentage you want. Auto is usually a bit dark. This works fine here. If it doesn't work for you I don't know what the problem is.

Thanks but I have already done what you suggest on the PFD and changing from auto to manual has no effect as adjusting the percentage does not change the display brightness.

You don't have any WT G1000 mod in your community folder, right? Also, did you try with a default livery?
