Hello !

Didn't find anything in the search function.

In the latest release, if you klick on an airport on the map, the distance to the user plane isn't updated while flying

towards that airport. It also doesn't update the heading for that airport .

Do I miss a setting, or is it a bug?

Thanks in advance from Germany,

Scott

Hi Alex!

Sorry for answering now,but I've been abroad. Now I am back, but it seems I am too old  for the kind of link,on which I have to click

on your above mentioned link.An email program window pops up and wants me to create an email account. But I don't want that,

I already have one with freenet and thunderbird.

So what to do?

Regards,

Scott

This is normal. Whatever your standard email program is pops up a new email writing window with the clicked address if you click on an email link. You can also copy the address and insert it into a new email.

Hi Scott,

I've got your email. Thank you for the file but I still cannot reproduce the problem. Bearing and distance are updating fine here in the airport information window as well as in the map tooltips while flying. Also when using your settings file.

That's weird, all started with the latest update from LNM.

Can I get the previous version somewhere?

Hi Alex,

could be old files from LNM installations cause this problem?

Where are all the places, LNM  puts files in?

Merry Xmas,

Hi Scott,

all configuration files and databases are stored in "C:\Users\YOURUSERNAME\AppData\Roaming\ABarthel" on Windows. See here for file locations on other OS: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.8/en/FILES.html

You can rename the folder ABarthel (do not delete to have a backup) to do a total reset. Maybe it helps.

I just looked through the code and could not find any obvious errors. Does this happen only for airports, navaids, userpoints or for all?

A Merry Christmas to you too!

Hi Alex,

I've downloaded the newest version today(2.8.7 64 bit).

It is working again, as it should.

Thank you very much,

Unfortunately I was wrong. Clicking on the Icon for "Jump to the user aircraft" and "Keep the user aircraft centered on the map", the map only jumps to the airport,

on which I started the flight.

Never seen this. Hard to reproduce without screenshots or a short video.

Sorry Alex,

even with an old version 2.8.0  it is not centering my plan on the map.

Any ideas outside from LNM, which could cause that?

I also have a problem with Plan G, that program is freezing every ten seconds for 20 seconds or more.

It's really a pain in the a...

Scott
